The Autumn Waltz

1.
Listened to the words you'd say That painted sadness in these eyes. Heard them once all before Never needed to reply. Spoke of love so afraid To nestle into a warm embrace. Struggled toward our own charade Looking for a quick escape. There we stood surrounded by feathers The beat of our hearts let go to new weather. Carried security only to far Left w/ the past and made a new start. Stumbled toward each others lies Knowing the wrongs won't make it right. Eyes sharpen to end the fight Soon forget you, if just overnight. All too soon 3 words at noon Broke a heart and carried a tune. What we said and what we did Is now in the Ballad Of A Winter Hymn.

Stubborn sins this cowardice hides Veiled in a humorless disguise. Tired wisdoms in these dark eyes. Settled into this blue abyss Left w/ the taste of one soft kiss. Your forlorn embrace is now his. Eyes mingle of iron and gold So detached to behold. Dare the truths you once had told. Times we lived in black and white Thunder crackles in the long night. Calm to the storm nowhere in sight. The Autumn Waltz we once had danced Left us in a breathless trance. Grey skies glow to romance Leaving time in fates hands. In the wake of impending disaster Are you still devoted to rapture. Always willing to surrender. The Autumn Waltz we once had danced Left us in a breathless trance. Grey skies glow to romance Leaving time in fates hands.

Tangled in words scrawled in dense verse Caught in a shadow of a loveless curse. Tried to move forward but caught in reverse Never forgive the times that we're hurt. Embers of love sickly and sweet Words like a hurricane never discreet. Caught in a web of wicked deceit. Grasping at words we tried to appease. Can i make one suggestion To give you perception We have No Connection So get used to rejection. Deliver your tired insights w/ zeal Hoping the world will feel how you feel. Believing you always get the wrong deal Who cares you have no appeal. Gentle wisdoms yet to be sworn Kindly misgivings left to be torn. New beginnings never to be born All the hurt on our sleeves we had worn. Can i make one suggestion To give you perception We have No Connection So get used to rejection

about

The songs from The Autumn Waltz initially took flight in November of 2011 with Drums being snapped, crackled and popped by Damon Richardson (Change Of Heart/AVH). A few months later I then acquired the recording assistance of Jason Ball (Hopeful Monster) to which we spent a day recording Acoustic Guitars.

Soon after I finished off the E.P with Daniel Dell at the recording helm. Together with Jim Castillo on Guitars, Shota Nakamura on Bass/Keys & myself of Guitars/Vox we finished off the E.P in October of 2012.

The E.P is a mere $5 in it's entirety or PWYC for individual tracks. All donations will be used for recording of my new album due sometime in the Summer 2013.

Dedicated to Shea Auburn, Norah Leigh & Tyler Clark.
