Make For The Wind

Make For The Wind, like Rusholme Lane was written around 10 years ago and was also recorded for the album An Audience w/ The Winter Wolves. But like Rusholme Lane it wasn't how i envisioned it to sound so i redid it with Jay Ball for the album A Rosary Of Injuries.

I never made much of it as a song musically when i wrote it, but i remember playing some of it at a show while waiting for my band to get ready and my friend Kent and Scott said when they heard me fiddling around with it that it was great.

I love the words and the version here is great with the cello etc. It's basically my homage to late 60's Donovan which i'm quite happy with. It's dense sounding for sure.

I hope this malaise will softly subside.

September resides to long impressions.
Harmonies glide in honeyed remembrance.
